1939 American Bantam Speedster This is my 1939 American Bantam Speedster. It has a 20 horsepower flathead engine and a 3 speed manual transmission (combined weight of 150 pounds). The car is only 11 feet long and weighs about 1,100 pounds. It was made in Butler, Pennsylvania where approximately 323 of these were made. The Bantam will participate in the 34th Annual Pacific Bantam Austin Club Trophy Meet and Show in Solvang, California October 24-26, 2002. Click here for more photos
