1939 Bantam Station Wagon This is my new 1939 Bantam Station Wagon. I purchased this car on May 4, 2003 from Norman Booth of Pasadena, California. I am the 5th owner of the car. Bantam produced 317 of these wagons in 1939 and 1940. This one is VIN 64716. Price as new was $565. The car has a 3 speed transmission and a 45 cubic inch engine which develops 20 horsepower. It weighs approximately 1,400 pounds. The maple wood body was manufactured by the Mifflinburg Body Company. More to come. Click here for more photos
