The Speed Demon carburetor never ran right so I decided to install a FAST EZ-EFI fuel injection system. The carb was ok but in combination with the automatic transmission it just didn't run the way I wanted it to. It took too long to warm up and was always stalling until it warmed up. The Fast EFI was a great addition. I just turn the key and it fires right up. I can immediately drop it in to gear and it doesn't stall. I would highly recommend this to anyone considering this upgrade.
Had to add a return line for the fuel injection so out came the tank.
Got rid of the Holley Red pump and added this inline pump. It's just as loud as the Holley. Fuel lines are teflon lined.
Wasn't thrilled with mounting the regulator on the firewall but there wasn't really anywhere else to put it. I may eventually get sick of it and find another place for it.
Almost done in this picture. Need to clean-up some of the wiring. I also changed the alternator bracket. I used a Sunbeam Tiger Mk II bracket.
